Evan Diamond
Evan Diamond was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada until she was 18 when she realized her dream to become a successful songwriter and musician. After convincing her parents to allow her to take a year off from university and move to Southern California, she moved to San Diego where she has been residing for 4 years, playing music all over the state.
This proved to be the right move for her as the now 22 year-old currently plays 15+ shows a month and has played venues such as The Hotel Café, The Viper Room and most recently, San Diego’s House of Blues Main Stage with her band, Evan Diamond & The Library.
Just like her music, her songwriting influences span a wide spectrum of genres and artists from Ed Sheeran, The 1975 and Paramore to The Beatles, Carole King and David Bowie which has created her own unique sound that she describes as indie pop/rock with hints of r&b and slight country melodies.
With her first single off her debut EP, Intersections, out now, Evan is breathing new life into the music industry and hopes to inspire others with her music along the way.
